Kirsten Simone Vangsness is an American actor and playwright from the United States. She was in the spotlight when she appeared as the character 'Penelope Garcia' in the police procedural crime drama series, 'Criminal minds'. Kirsten Simone Vangsness was also a part on the two spinoff series 'Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders' as well as Criminal Minds: Speculative Behavior. Alongside her role as an actor on television, Vangsness played small parts in several films following her debut as an actor in the year 1998. Alongside her notable movie roles, Ms. Williams has also appeared in such films as "In My Dreams", The Chicago 8 and Kill Me, Deadly. She's also a playwright and has written three episodes for Criminal Minds. She is often able to rescue and help rehabilitate animals that are injured or abandoned.
