Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best famous for his role on the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. In his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. His characters in television have earned him plenty of attention. He is able to play characters from both the good and bad sides in the law enforcement system. He has the ability to capture the audiences attention with ease. In his first TV series in which he played the role of a murderer. He then went on to play the part of an NYPD Detective. His small-screen performances were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. One of his most striking face features is thought to have been the piercing blue eye that has allowed him to portray characters who are rough and charismatic. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
